I work in both oil and watercolor, painting subjects drawn from everyday life. My interest is in the quiet moments and ordinary objects that often go unnoticed, yet carry meaning through their connection to our daily experiences.
My goal is to encourage viewers to pause and find beauty in the familiar.
Born in New Orleans to a Navy father and whose mother was raised in Puerto Rico, Marina grew up across the southern USA, landing in California at 8yo & residing until 2019. She is now a resident of Tacoma, WA where, as a result of COVID she began exploring creating art more deeply.
